I spent my days in a theater or on set which gave me a great foundation as a communicator and speaker.
I spent over a decade seeing my clients (customers) and helping them heal health issues and create new healthy habits. I taught corporate yoga at The Chive corporate headquarters and I taught yoga in a couple of yoga studies in Santa Monica for about 6 years.
Moving to Shanghai by myself might be one of the best examples of how flexible and adaptable I can be. I went with no expectations and that allowed my time and experiences to be that much richer.
Once again, my ability to adapt and change was challenged by the simple experience of moving to such a unique part of the world (that was still closed to the outside world at that time). I decided not to have any expectations and simply enjoy the “adventure” of it all. I knew it was also important to shed any stereotypes and build bridges by this experience and have the ability to share great memories with others back home, about my life in KSA.

Transitioning to a full-time online job took some serious adjustments. I became very self-motivated and self-directed because of this work. I found that I had the best work-life balance and could maintain a really healthy life and work full time by simply doing my work from my laptop. I have never looked back.
My office is at home or wherever I might travel working as an automation strategist (founder of The Untethered Minimalist). I found that I love all the techie backend stuff that I used to be intimidated by.
I live in both North Carolina and on the Aegean Sea in Izmir, Turkey with my husband. We love to show off the incredible ancient history and the amazing beauty of this land in Asia Minor (modern-day Turkey).
